Confirmation fee

A 50,000 ISK confirmation fee must be paid within 7 days of receiving an invitation to the programme.

Final payment

The remaining residency fee must be paid no later than 12 weeks before arrival. An invoice is normally sent 14 days before the payment deadline.

If final payment is not received by the deadline, we may release the place or treat the booking as cancelled unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling is possible provided the new dates fall within one year of the original booking.

To reschedule, please contact us at least 90 days before your original residency start date.

The outstanding residency fee must be paid in full to confirm the new booking.

Please note:

  • only one rescheduling is permitted per booking
  • once a booking has been rescheduled, the residency fee becomes non-refundable

Cancellation

If you cancel more than 60 days before the residency start date, you will receive a 50% refund of the final residency fee. The confirmation fee remains non-refundable.

Cancellations received less than 60 days before the residency start date are not eligible for a refund.

If you cancel after previously rescheduling your booking, the residency fee is non-refundable.
